lazy recently…this is the last free summer I will have for the rest of my life.
No rush to make money, no rush to spend it…just busy catching up on sleep.
Everyone who knows me personally knows of my recent obsession with Crystal Castles. While my brother Antonio (fellow music snob) refused to acknowledge their beauty upon his first listen, he’s now interested in them
While on the surface their music sounds pop-y, angst-y, and overall a music outlet for the 2000’s scene kids of the world (outfitted with their older sisters eyeliner, their younger sisters jeans, iPods, Holgas, and an attitude that says “I’m original, just like everyone else”), I’ve found it to be quite sad and dark…2 of my favorite things.
I’ll elaborate more later, right now I need a cigarette.
